#FOLIO: My POC Pinoy LGBT stuff

The Philippine Online Chronicles (POC) news-feature website (www.thepoc.net) was a project by Vibal Publishing. It launched an LGBT channel in June 2010 called “Pinoy LGBT.” I was tapped to be a contributing writer for the channel, edited by longtime lesbian advocate Eva Callueng and featuring writers who were mostly from the local queer advocacy circles like me.

I had several features published every month. I also wrote news bits every so often. For 2014, I started the Kalibugan ng Kuwan erotica column under the LGBT Erotica subsection of the channel. I am a bilingual writer so some materials are written in Filipino or in English. Sometimes the articles are in Taglish or in colloquial Filipino. I also contribute photos as well to accompany my own articles and the other articles in the channel. The channel lasted until 2016.

Now that the site is officially done and gone, I’ve transplanted my listing here. Still trying to upload some of the articles here. But those that have links, I found those on the ever-reliable snapshots of the Wayback Machine. Times like these, I love it that “the internet is forever” lol. Lucky to have quite a few articles snapshot individually. But there are some that belong to a longer listing so you’ll have to scroll to find them. (Still trying to figure out this part, folks! Bear with moi.)

Just a quick disclaimer, though. Please disregard the author’s bio details in these articles as they are outdated now. For inquiries and questions about stuff here, you can email me at leaflens24@gmail.com. Thanks! Happy reading!
